More from Stevie Joe on Immigration

I'll get back to the mystery visitor shortly. However, first I'd like to share another thought on immigration. As I have mentioned here before, me and JC are quite close. So, I pondered whether Jesus would build a fence along the border or try to keep anyone out. It only took me a few seconds to come up with an answer that I was pretty confident with. How about you? What do you think JC would do?

Praise Jeebus!

JC would say "Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's" and leave it up to the gov'ment. JC was remarkably uninterested in politics, unlike his current crop of followers.

I don't think JC recognised fences, or borders.... or for that matter the differences in skin color.

Isn't everyone welcome at the Lord's table? Aren't we all his children, good or bad, whatever color, nationality, or religious belief?

I think JC would say:

"Welcome, sit, feast at the table of plenty, my children".

I think he has a few words, and a couple of surprises for those who call themselves Christians.

Hi Stevie Joe:

It's me, Karl, on the front line of the war on brown people.

What would Jebus do in a case like this?

http://www.kvoa.com/global/story.asp?s=7403359

I say, we can spend a coupla million bux an hour on the "war on terror", but we incarcerate this man....

He has more heart than most 'mericans. Give the dude a break. I say set him up. House in the 'burbs. A Gumment job. Free health care, for him and his family. Retirement benifits.

Reward his sacrifice.

So, lemme ask this....

What would JC do?

Good comments all! Schorsch must be a Republican. They all know the "give unto Caesar" quote.

So, Karl, what happened to the fella in your story? I heard he was arrested. Any follow-up?

The guy in the story was deported back to mexico. He was invited back for a ceremony, and gave him a plaque in appreciation.

Here's about as much news as I know:

Notice the poll numbers at the bottom of the story. Seems like most of us want him to be allowed back into the country.

I guess no good dead goes unpunished.

Peace out,

Karl

P.S. Welcome back!
